ABOUT
Nickel City Learning Solutions is a one-person shop with nearly two decades of range — the kind of experience that means your project gets a designer who's already solved the problem you're facing.

The name is a nod to the buffalo on the old five-cent piece — the same buffalo that anchors the logo. It stands for a straightforward way of working: build something solid, make it genuinely useful, and let the results do the talking instead of the sales pitch.
That's the approach here too. I've spent nearly 20 years turning complicated subject matter into training people actually complete — for enterprises, government programs, nonprofits, and certification bodies.
You talk to the person doing the work — not an account manager relaying messages.
Every course is designed around real learning science, not just prettier slides.
Completion is the metric. If learners don't finish, the training didn't work.
Primarily Articulate Storyline and Rise for interactive, SCORM-ready courses, plus the supporting design work — storyboards, assessments, and job aids. If your team is standardized on a specific authoring tool or LMS, I'll work in what you already have.
Either. Some clients hand me a finished script and need it built; others need the full arc — learner analysis, objectives, module flow, assessment, and the finished course. I can plug in at any point in that process.
It depends on scope, but a single well-defined eLearning module usually runs a few weeks from kickoff to final SCORM package. Larger multi-module programs are scoped up front so you know the timeline before we start.
Yes — that's most of what I do. I'm used to pulling structure out of experts who know their material cold but aren't sure how to teach it. You bring the expertise; I turn it into something learners can actually follow and finish.
Every project is scoped individually based on length, interactivity, and how much of the design work you need. Book a quick call and I'll give you a clear, itemized estimate — no surprises.
